The ARXE Carbon Grand Prix is still the lightest sail on the market today, and its continuous-filament construction provides enviable shape retention.

With Monolithic, we’ve raised the bar even higher by patenting a technology that allows us to build continuous-filament fiber sails laminated in a single piece, a construction process that achieves a balance between lightness and structural rigidity never before seen in the world of sailmaking. Downwind/reaching sails represent another major and constantly evolving sector of the racing world, where there is a great deal of experimentation in terms of design and material optimization. Over the past five years, our gennakers and Code Zeros have undergone repeated upgrades that have addressed every minute detail. With the technology at our disposal, we are able to predict during the design phase what the actual angles of use for each sail will be and what loads it will have to withstand. These data form the essential starting point for sail design. Then, what makes the difference is our team’s ability to interpret the data and their experience.
